TSO-9S Tai-Sho
on: 27 Sep, 2008, 14:40:15 pm

Another take on one of the Combine's flagship C3 mechs.

The FF armor was dropped to free up space, while the UAC10 is repalced by an Artemis IV enhanced 10 rack of LRMs.  A compact gyro also frees up more space, all of the free crits and some of the mass go towards giving the Tai-Sho the DHS it needs to fire those PPCs without overheating - something a mech with 3/5 movement to start can ill afford.  A Guardian ECM was added for both added protection and to take advantage of the TacOps ECCM rules if they're in play.  Some armor wound up getting sacrificed to free up the mass for the ECM however.

Heck yes.  Having weapons you cannot make full use of just made no sense.  This guys is everything a company commander should be driving.  And as an added bonus you can replace a Master with TC and medium laser for a solid lance commander.
