This is the new and improved Fan Article Directory!  Links to all of the archived articles can be reached from this page.  The older threads will be de-stickied, but will not be updated any more.  You can either use the find function in your browser or follow the appropriate links to navigate this thread.  Suggestions and corrections are welcome, but please PM them instead of posting to the thread.  Requests should be PM’d to (one of the) currently active authors of the thread.  Mech of the Week requests and writers have their own thread for organization stickied at the top of this forum. You will find some oddities in the listings.  This has to do with modifications made to make life easier for you.  As a result, some series such as the WoB unit articles will be split into its component unit types and be posted in multiple sections  Due to this, I will no longer keep tally of the number of articles posted in a particular series. Different suffix tags in parentheses will denote articles in each group that don’t come from the general series.  For example, the ‘Custom novel mechs’ articles will show up in the Mech section, but will be to reflect their original series.

Some additional notes:  The listed dates posted will correspond to the date of posting under Pacific Standard Time  This reduces confusion for me, but it can be adjusted… it would just be a pain and mostly pointless, as far as I can see, but if it bothers enough people, I can change that.  Second, spellings will be in Commonwealth English.  This is mostly a matter of convenience and habit for me.  If you’re wondering why that ‘u’ appears in Armor and Color, now you know.

I’m going to do another odd thing here.  The more popular a category, the further down it goes.  While most of you will page down or use the links to skip to the relevant post, for those of you that scroll, you’ll see some of the more niche articles.  I do this in the hope of attracting more attention to some of the less prominent aspects of the CBT setting

Out Of Character

This category consists of the things that are more useful from a player perspective.  Things like minis, paint schemes, making a campaign, and general tactics and strategies fall under this.  There will be some overlap with the following ‘Universe’ section since some topics straddle the OOC and IC aspects.

This category includes all the things that pull the universe together.  This includes all the fictional stuff to do with the Battletech setting.  Characters, families, militaries and their strategies, mercenary units, technology, support vehicles, custom mechs, WoB equipment, nuclear weapons and planets all fall under this.

Both Pillager links lead to wantec's article - the Pillager [StarDate] link needs to be fixed. 

There was a Update article that listed all the 3075 "Royal" versions of the SLDF fighters, does anyone know where that is?

Well, for that same reason I made my own spreadsheet that has it all organized. I haven't gotten all the authors in, but it's got the name, Clan or IS, tonnage, Omni (or not), article date, 2nd article date, link(s) to articles and it's got it noted if it's on the old boards but not here.

EDIT: I've got all the author names added.
