Finished Kitbash (Painted): Klondike OmniMech
on: 08 Apr, 2008, 22:12:49 pm
For those who are interested, the stats are in my sig.  Check "Klondike Heavy OmniMech."

After some hard, and frustrating, work, this is my first finished kit-bash.  I hope you all enjoy it.  This kitbash is the Klondike Prime and it is painted in Clan Ghost Bear Delta Galaxy colors:

Question ??   Are the Vulture torsos just acting as torsos or are they missile pods ??

I really like the SRM6 perched up on top

I like the overall look, but those arms will have to grow on me for awhile

Looks fast and efficent

They are just torsos.  Mostly because of the larger engine they have to hold (at least that made sense to me).

The arms were just easier to do that way because it's all I had available.

What's the loadout? I find it to be very reminisent of the Hellhound from MW4: Mercs at least in the looks department. Nice job! Afro

Great work, especially for your first bash! I would love to see the C configuration on my side of our trial of annihilation tomorrow. Have you thought about bashing another with the new sculpt Mad Dog/Timberwolf legs/arms?

When I get money I'll try it.  This was a budget-bash with what I already have.  Dead

And for stats...  they are in my sig up top.

This has a nice look, and I might even have the parts to make my own, but what are the stats for this mech?

I see nothing finished about this project. Maybe I'm not seeing the finished pics?

WE ARE THE APEX PREDATORS of this planet; we can survive in outer space, we can even fight underwtaer in the ocean, survive in the jungle, and thrive in the hotest deserts. We eat anything we want that Mother Earth has for us, if we want to. Some of us even eat each other. With that said, WE ARE THE APEX PREDATORS OF THIS PLANET. Am I so insane to say this? I think not . . .. . .

What did you use for the center torso? I seem to have everything else, or something that I can use for a substatution in the case of the missle launcher.

Classic Fire Moth, and I cut off the sides with a razor saw.  I know you didn't ask, but the missile launcher is just the missile launchers from the summoner/hellbringer classic legs, filed and glued together.  I was going to use the new hellbringer launcher pod but I didn't want to pay a dollar+shipping.

Also, if ANYONE makes a kit bash, PLEASE show me!!!  Afro
