Well, we have now run a number of successful painting competitions over at wargamefans.net (some still in prgress and due to a server crash many moons ago, all but the latest Vor competition were lost on the site) but we were wondering if anyone here would be up for a competition.
1. There will be trophies for 1st-3rd place.
2. There will be free hosting and free entrance.
3. There will be a community choice award for a prize yet to be determined from a poll of popular vote on our forums.
4. There will be an IWM gift certificate raffle that all entrants are eligible for, amount to be determined...at least $10.
If we can get at least 10 concrete committed posts here I will work up the rules and deadline and post a link for them. Let me know if you are interested and if you have any preference as to the type of competition you would be interested in. i.e. Completely open, Clan, IS, Periphery, kitbashes, Vehicles or Mechs only...etc. I look forward to your feedback!

We would be looking at least Halloween for a deadline, so you all would have at least a month, I'm thinking probably Mid-November for the deadline though as I may be moving into out new house around the end of October..HOPEFULLY. Okay, so I will get the rules drawn up and post a link within the next couple of days and we can ge this thing going. Please pass along the idea to anyone else who you might think is interested.

Cool - I'd like to submit the one I did for this month's CBT painting competition, since the stuff seemingly won't be posted here in the forseeable future, and I'm damnably frustrated and want some feedback on it. That cool? |

That's part of the reason we decided to do this. We didn't want to over tax anyone with multiple contests, but since it seemed to die off here we decided to start running one. And who doesn't love prizes?! Free stuff is always cool! Please enter that one, and another if you'd like, everyone is allowed 2 entries. Hope to see a nice turnout. Let anyone who you think might be interested know! |

Yeah, hopefully mid next week. I had a complete computer crash and lost EVERYTHING from a nasty virus! I am working on getting the few entries I did get, downloaded again, and getting my computer up to par so that I can get everything posted soon. I apologize for the delay...it was not a pleasant occurance.
