| That's why I live in New York City. It's like walking into the middle of the track when you cross a green-lit intersection! |

| Walking in NYC was fun. Chicago is fun also. Its just weird to me that Dover, DE would be a huge race for Nascar. But 200,000 people in one area is something neat. Even if it is Rednecks. |

| Well, from the standpoint of law-enforcement in Delaware, the Dover Downs races are a cash cow (for businesses too, I suspect). All of the troops working the race are getting time-and-a-half for putting up with the drunks and the traffic. I dislike people, so I always pass it up, but some guys make quite a bit of money at the race. You guys in Dover, feel free to come down to Georgetown if you want to get around. Salisbury is also a nice place to be on race weekend. |

Ah, race weekend in Dover, DE. A time when a town of 40,000 explodes to a population closing in on 200,000. Fun fun.
Needless to say, I will get home from work Friday night and go to work Monday morning. Until then I'm not leaving the house... |
