Man, Machine, what's the difference?

For the past six months I have been dealing with a medical diagnosis of a medication induced parkinsonism. The doctors have said that my mind would not continue to degrade if I kept my activity level high, but fact is I'm slipping badly and making monstrous mistakes. The 'next generation' version of the website has had it's launch date slip close to a year now, and it continues to slide further and further away from me.
I just made a huge mistake on the back end of CBT - without going into details on what I did, I broke mySQL so you cannot post new topics or access a great many functions, broke my ability to log in via FTP or SSH, broke the ability to even change the website to let people know what is going on... and if the server reboots it is NOT coming back up.
... and it is all my fault for a typo where I forgot a period... Though this is not the first of the mistakes I have made the past two years. THEN if we cannot restore the server I forgot to bring my backup disks up from the garage after moving to my new place last year, and continued to store the new backups down there - all of which are effectively ruined by the -20F temperatures of the past month.
Meaning if I cannot pull a backup from the server before we have to nuke it from orbit, we might lose EVERYTHING, as in the entire site both the website 'proper' and the forums.
I am going to put every effort into bringing Classicbattletech.com back up, but then I plan on tendering my resignation as site maintainer as I am no longer able to keep up with the demands of the position.
My apologies for not stepping down sooner, my ego got the better of me and I need to concentrate more on my health, and admit that all my plans for Classicbattletech.com will never see fruition. Sad fact is I no longer trust my own skills to do the most basic of things, and until I get better (which is increasingly unlikely) that is not going to change.
So as soon as I straighten out this mess I'm hanging up my shingle as a software developer. Three decades is a good run, time to set out to pasture.

For those of you who haven't figured it out, I've managed to pull the server kicking and screaming back from the edge of the abyss without losing anything - given that four hours ago I was seriously considering a clean wipe of the server and starting over from scratch...
Some time soon we will be locking the forums, creating an archive, then deleting all posts older than 6 months from the majority of boards, just as the Mechwarrior hall was purged of everything older than two months. I'll inform you of the details
What I'm going to do is stay on long enough to bring SOMEONE up to speed and finish the launch of the next generation version of CBT. From that point on... We'll see.
So, does anybody know a php/mysql developer who cares about battletech and can produce PHP and Markup I won't consider complete rubbish, that can devote four to six hours a day the next month working on the site, all on a volunteer basis?
