I thought I"d go head and make a list of links in one convenient thread. Especially since there are a few more now. Here are a few good sites: Germ's web site: http://www.germy.co.uk/index.htmSmallRealities website listed under under "Terrain": http://www.timewarpcomics.com/gamesite/btechTwo skyscrapers form Japan( you may have to down load a patch from Adobe): http://dns1.rrr.gr.jp/paper_craft/tatemono.html Nuclear Power Plant of Vandellós, Spain: click "Abrir / Descargar" http://www.enresa.es/Red+Documental/Publicaciones/Material+didactico/es/Recortables+desmantelamiento+VI.htm?pagina=1Here is a good site that includes the links above: http://www.spacestation42.com/pt-buildings.htmlPosted By Gurth They're 1/144th scale, so printing them at 50% should make them about the right size.: http://www.grundschule-pretzschendorf.de/Werken/Weihnachtsberg/weihnachtsberg.htmlAnd last but not least all the cardstock buildings I designed ( it 's also linked in my sig). The link to Sarna has a city road set I designed , which isn't on LOTB, and the link to LOTB has a tutorial and pictures.: http://sarna.net/files/index.php/media/cardstock/http://www.lordsofthebattlefield.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16673

As we agreed I'm starting a fresh thread devoted to the subject mentioned anbove. I have few requests - pls just post your links and don't send emotional off-top . Apart of links the short reference would be also nice. http://www.papermodels-ua.narod.ru/ - one of the best links page to different kind of paper models (both in English and Russian). http://paperbuildings.happyllama.com/ - there you'll find a lot of european style buildings. There are two kind of links to download the same modell, at least one is working.

http://www.momirfarooq.com/A lot of SF paper terrain - walls, comm station, etc. One bad thing - you need to rescale the models, but part of them are usable in original scale design.

In this Commando's humble opinion... The Ral Partha- UK (Europe) Resin buildings are the best value for the frugal CBT gamer's money. In the USA they can be had through Iron Wind Metals www.ironwindmetals.comand the new FanProdirect website. www.fanprodirect.com

Dreampod 9 has some nice cardstock building PDF's, you have to print them at about 50% or so, but they should be pretty nice. note: these links are to HTML pages that have links to the PDF's. heavy gear themedGearkreig themedif standard battletech isn't your thing, print them at 100% and use them for MWDA.

A few more non-paper sites with CBT scale buildings. xmarx.biz http://www.xmarx.biz/entrance.htmlLeva Productions http://www.geocities.com/levaproductions/levamain.htmlWargamer http://www.wargamer.pl/Look under wargames terrain. I enjoyed the the ruined buildings. For US customers, the shipping was fairly quick. Ground Zero Games (GZG) http://www.gtns.co.uk/store1/commerce.cgi?page=ds-fp.html&cart_id=5974492.30224The MICROTAC line has been seen in previous CBT manuals. You will need to go to the download area to get the catalog so that you can attempt to figure out what each of the buildings looks like though, just see page 23 of the catalog.

I ran across this thread doing a google search for my website. I'm curious, what types of buildings and terrain most people are looking for?
I'm working on a Gauss Turret and an LRM Turret right now. Do you want generic city structures, industrial buildings, roads / rails?

I just stumbled across a German company that makes paper models. Many of their buildings are in 1/300 scale. http://www.schreiber-bogen.de/Wouldn't the Guggenheim Museum look nice on your battlefield? What about a mine (Zeche Zollverein Essen)?

Actually, those Roman buildings would be perfect for an upscale residential neighborhood.

Some great buildings may be had by a nice lady in Texas, and she often gets items from overseas. Starquest Command is the site. Some great stuff!

What I'd like to see is a list of non-paper and a list of paper terrain. It's difficult to tell what link is paper and what link is non-paper. Personally I like non-paper terrain...doesn't get damaged as easily. Anyone have a list like that?

Just about anything modular that can be stacked or placed side by side to make larger/more unique buildings works. factories with smoke stacks Split level residential buildings Apt Buildings with balconies - (not sure how to cast without two layers per side and high cost) Non-square buildings. L shaped. larger buildings "modular" style with removable roofs commercial buildings - superstores, fast food joints, modular strip malls Hospitals Schools Repair bays/Mech Gantries HQ/Capital building modular Stadium sections Kurita/Asian style buildings Churches/Mosques Banks Barns swimming pools - I've yet to see one. above or inground town square statue or fountain - not seen anything in 1/285 beyond homemade. Whatever you come up with, hollow the guts as much as possible to reduce the amount of resin used and reduce the cost.

Fountains, apartment buildings, churches and stuff can be found in Z-scale (1:220) at model railroad shops. If there are no shops near you Walthers has an extensive sit with a pretty useful search feature at www.walthers.com

The $20-50 per building of most RR products, go fish.

Look at it as the difference between buildings enclosing a few cubic inches to buildings enclosing almost an entire cubic foot.

Let's not forget World Works Games who make stunning paper terrain. Their mech related product is Red Sector, a stand along expansion for Platform Command. The set even comes with modular mech peices to make your own 3D paper mech. http://www.worldworksgames.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=189

I'll second that one. Even if you don't have photoshop you can still scale and print out your pdf's at a smaller size. YES I KNOW these are MWAoD and not CBT but it will give you an idea of what they are like scaled down. Its been a long time but I think I scaled these 60% from the original size. Wonderful terrian!
